The time has come again.
I went to see cherry blossoms before seven on Saturday 2 weeks ago. The air is fresh and petals are shining.
Cherry is called "sakura" in Japanese.
During the cherry season, it is windy every day. It's not easy for me to take photos in focus.
They are pretty.
80 percent of blossoms have opened. Full bloom will be a few days later.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat time of flowering trees, it looks beautiful, I like these photos especially these alleys along the road.
ReplyDeleteHello rtc, I wonder if you have a favorite among the fruit blossoms--cherry, plum, apple, peach, and so forth. I love them all, but perhaps the white apple blossoms are especially appealing to me. I also like the ones you can spy at the edges of woods, such as blackberries, raspberries and of course the roses themselves.

Oh my! These are so dazzlingly beautiful they take my breath away.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, love the trees.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos! Here in Shizuoka, the blossoms are nearly gone, but they were pretty while they lasted.
ReplyDeleteYour cherry blossom photos made my heart sing this morning. So lovely. I have the same trees gracing my town in the Spring, but with the winds and rain, the blossoms have already fallen. It is truly a wonderful sight when they first appear. And they look just like this in your beautiful photos.

WOW! Awesome beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDearest RTC,
ReplyDeleteWe left just at the time when our Yoshida cherry was blooming but the 7 days that we were gone, we missed the peak of its blossoms.
Wind does not make photography easy but you gift us here with spectacular photos; THANK YOU!
Japan is heaven when it comes to cherry blossoms. Enjoy the progress of spring.
Hugs,
Mariette
