Lots of deer live in Nara park. They come out to places where tourists gather for sightseeing. You can give them deer-crackers. 奈良公园有很多鹿。它们常常来到游客多来的地方吃鹿饼。
Am I in their territory?
I can say they are gentle.
Some of them are accustomed to the traffic and walk across the road.
I have visited Nara and seen the deer. They are very friendly. Maybe too friendly.
ReplyDeleteHello rtc, Aww, so cute! I had lots of deer in my yard when I lived in Ohio, even the baby fawns. Also lots of other wildlife, more than in warmer Taipei. At least there are no skunks here!

I love friendly deer -- I remember many on Miyajima.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! It's always nice to have you stop by.

Amazing animals!
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that they stay around people like that!
ReplyDeleteYou captured Nara deer very well. Good information for tourists.
ReplyDeleteThe deer's breeding season is coming soon, May and June!
Tourists can see cute babies roaming in the Park.
Have a good new week.
Wow - what a crazy sight! We have a lot of birds here (and some alligators) that occasionally invade urban areas, but these deer are a highly unusual sight.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, walking across the road in traffic - well I suppose they get used to it, well some of them.
ReplyDeleteNice photos.
Interestingly it looks, walking deer among tourists, I hope that they do not hurt each other.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures of the cute deers!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Dimi...
Espectacular, vê-los assim no meio da cidade... sem ter medo das pessoas, nem do trânsito!...
ReplyDeleteAdorei ver!!! Grata, uma vez mais, pela belíssima partilha!
Beijinhos! Votos de uma feliz semana!

Your deer look different than ours here. They are a very special animal to me. I can't believe these deer walk across the road along with the people coming and going. Here, they are usually in the meadows or mountain areas, and when they see you, they are very cautious and sometimes sprint away. So when we see them, we stop, appreciate, and gaze for a long time. : )

Deer crackers - how sweet for those cuties! I love the Warning sign - the artwork fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWe have some deer come through our garden now and then - unfortunately their 'cuteness' is forgotten when they nibble the shrubs and eat the seed and suet in the bird feeders! Oh well, animals get hungry too!
Thanks for your kind comment - have a wonderful day.

Dearest RTC.,
ReplyDeleteLove the gentle and rather tame Nara dear, they even seem to be curious!
It would be such a joy for being that close and for hand feeding them...
Hugs,
Mariette
I saw these deer at the temple and I was amused also by the sign. it is quite alarming when you get a packet of rice cake and the deer chase after you! some of them are quite big animals :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy it must be to view these deer roaming the park. I would love that experience!
ReplyDeleteLove deers....lovely week love Ria x ❤️
ReplyDeleteI've never seen deer walk the streets around here. I am in the wrong place.
