Sasanqua Under The Warm Sunshine 茶梅花

Sasanqua is a kind of camellia. Camellias open flowers in spring, sasanquas open in November to December.
Sasanqua flowers are smaller than camellia.
Their flowers tell us that northern winds are getting stronger and colder.
Winter is just around the corner.
Leaves are changing colors. On the other hand, some trees such as sawtooth oak and zelkova have been shedding leaves.

  1. Camellias are such lovely plants and mostly are pink of some kind. We have a hedge of camellias up the side of our house and those camellias bloom for a long time.

  2. 茶梅比較少見,她與山茶和金沙江紅山茶同科屬,比較難分辨🌺🌺🌺

Very beautiful Camelias. Yours have many petals whereas mine have single petals but both are beautiful. It is nice that they bloom at this time of the year. Lovely autumn colours in your last photo.:=)

  17. Oh, I think I've seen the pink bush growing here before. The white camellia is so pretty. How nice it would be to see this tree with the warm sunshine. It's been so cold here, in the 20's and 30's. I really like that last photo. It's so Fall looking. Have a pleasant week ahead.

  18. How pretty! I wonder if the Sasanqua is related to the Camellia Sinensis (tea plant).

    Thanks for the visit!

  19. Beautiful :) Flowers have always delighted me. My landscape is grey. The first snow has fallen, but it's gone.
