As you may already know, there are two kinds of peony. One is woody, called "tree peony" and the other is herbaceous, "Chinese peony". This is the latter.
I feel this is elegant while tree peonies are gorgeous. My smartphone was cheerful this time and I did take this photo luckily.
This park has a hothouse growing tropical plants in good conditions. One room keeps some kinds of subtropical butterflies. This is Ideopsis similis. 我也試試拍些蝴蝶照片.
I understand how difficult to take their photos. They are almost always flapping. We need a lot of perseverance.
Congrats on the beautiful butterfly shots!

ReplyDeleteSimply captivating photos. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHello RTC, Your nature photos are getting better and better. I had some peonies at my old house in Ohio, but they were never as perfect as this one you display.

牡丹和蝴蝶都很漂亮。
ReplyDelete花及蝴蝶都靚.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully said—Chinese peonies do have such a quiet elegance. You captured it wonderfully, and yes, getting a good photo of them takes real patience
ReplyDeleteThey are a beautiful flower and such a pretty colour too.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos and the butterfly is beautiful.

It's quite a challenge to get the butterfly photos, as they are always fluttering about, but you got some wonderful photos. My blog friend loves peonies, but they look a bit different than these in her state. The Chinese peony is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have the best June days.

I love peonies and pink. So this is double wow. Plus, that butterfly is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I know about peonies is that apparently I've always pronounced it wrong. :) Lovely photos.
