This large garden has no pond or stream. Visitors enjoy the garden beyond the green lawn and the water in a square shallow pool reflecting trees and the sky. This architecture seems unique.
The sand is reddish. Gardeners pattern streams and eddies forms by them. Some stones are set vertically. They might represent a mountain.
There is a stone path in the sand stream on which no one walk. I just imagined walking on for meditation. Where does this path lead to?
ohh pretty pretty--most be wonderful to see
ReplyDeleteIt is very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDearest RTC.
ReplyDeleteThis post somehow brought back childhood memories for me!
In the past, every Saturday in a zigzag shape with a large hard broom, the sand between the home and the street, was also swept. You weren't allowed to walk on it, otherwise the pattern was gone... Every Saturday it was done again, mainly by my Mom.
Your images show a lot more relief and look stunning.
Also the old farmer's barn is special, good it got preserved!
Hugs,
Mariette
This looks like a very interesting place.
ReplyDeleteHello rtc, A very quaint little park. I wonder if people are allowed to see inside the old barn--it looks nicely restored.

ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting and lovely to visit, no pond or stream but at least got square pool with shallow water. I am curious to see what is inside the farmer's barn.

All the best Jan
Oh! Loved those sand paths and stones. Quite creative way of adding beauty to our surroundings.
ReplyDeleteThe garden looks very peaceful. What an interesting stone path. The sand looks like a design of a stream, river, or brook. So unique.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have wonderful June days.
