Same Splendid Views Again

One year has passed and we are enjoying cherry blossoms again.

This is the most popular and gorgeous kind "Somei Yoshino" that you can see many places in Japan.
Winds over the river are cooler than in town. Blossoms will be in full a few days later.
This shrine named Hoshinomiya Jinja is surrounded with tall cedar trees. This cherry is in full bloom.
I found this cherry in my new walking course. The cherry in woods gives me the feeling of a deeper calm.
It rained a bit next day. I love wet blossoms as well as those shining under the blue sky.

  2. That is a beautiful time. Here, in Toronto, Canada, we have the sakura tree blossoms in May. It is a gorgeous sight especially in High Park.
    Keep well.

  3. Dearest RTC,
What a beauty captured on photos!
ENJOY this oh so special time of the year.
We have had a bit of an extension to the cherry blossom season due to a drop in temperature with almost freezing at night. Still tonight will be rather cool and one more night, so the blooming period is a bit extended. Also for the wonderful Dogwoods that are in full bloom.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  4. Hello rtc, Luckily, the cherry trees have not failed this year. Blossoms dotted with water are beautiful, "like two kinds of jewels" as Robert Frost would have said.

    1. Dear RTC, thanks for your concern. My house is in order because it is far from a fire. You are right, it was an old architecture building. It’s a pity.

  12. Oh, the cherry blossom trees are beautiful. And such a nice photo of them all lined up in a row. I used to see them every Spring grace the streets where I used to live. Yes, they are pretty with a few drops of water on them.

*to answer your question.....when I saw the deer, I felt incredibly thankful, that it was a gift. I live in the mountains now, and was told that they often roam around up here, but I will always stop and appreciate them when they come in my view. I believe they are special animals. I also felt peace when I gazed at them. Thank you for asking, my friend. : )

  13. No wonder that people look forward to this beautiful season all year. Now, the cherry blossoms outside my window are flying away in the wind. But it has filled my window like snow.
