Japanese orchids is one of the traditional garden plants. You can enjoy various flower colors such as red, orange, yellow and purple.
I love the flower shape.
Pretty twin.
After I enjoyed the red orchid, I saw a big cedar stands under the blue sky, bathing in the spring sun.
I imagine every big tree near houses has had fond memories for inhabitants.
In your childhood, you would stand on the root of a tree and looked it up.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA nice sight in these quiet times.

Dearest RTC.,
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely Japanese orchids!
We got one native to Japan, that is over 24 years old and it has been blooming very early, inside our greenhouse: http://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2011/05/our-bletilla-striata-alba-orchid-native.html
All majestic solitary trees are wonderful to see. We did have a huge English walnut tree next to the house when I grew up; that was majestic as well.
That cedar is regal looking and you also show a lovely blue sky for spring.
Kindest regards,
Mariette
It is beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I fondly remember several trees from childhood that I spent a lot of time playing around.
ReplyDeleteI love cedar as well. This giant tree remember many things passed along it, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove your wonderful orchids! The orchids are indoor flowers here, they do not resist cold climate and strong wind outside.
These photos are all very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello rtc, Spring is a great time to get outdoors again and appreciate the ambient trees and flowers. In Ohio, there are many kinds of orchids in the woods, although not many as fancy as the one you show here.

Looks nice
ReplyDeleteThose orchids are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, that last photo is so cool with the blue in the tree branches. I would love to see the Purple Orchid, that sounds so pretty. Yes, trees have stood for thousands of years. Can you imagine the stories they could tell?
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well at this time.
