This is the big weeping cherry tree at a temple's garden. I went to kindergarten run by this temple.
Residents enjoy the line of beautiful blossoms along the railway.
Many Shinto shrines have cherry trees.
Around fifty years ago, a garment factory planted cherries. Big branches have not been cut fortunately. This big and tall line can be said "one natural heritage" beyond human expectation.
Cherry's full bloom lasts only a few days.
Every spring I go to see cherries and yellow flowers on the bank. Once a year we can enjoy this time.

Dearest RTC.,
ReplyDeleteWhat a heavenly place for going to Kindergarten and for strolling every spring thereafter.
LOVE these mature cherry trees, it is the most beautiful blooming tree in the spring. However short they bloom, they bring beauty to life and lift up human's soul. With a perfect photo, like yours, we can extend this season of beauty...
Hugs,
Mariette
Hello rtc, These mature blossoming cherries are magnificent beyond words. Of course the blossoms are breathtaking, but what I love most is the irregular shape underneath of the large old fruit trees.

P.S. When I was young, I used to locate wild cherry trees in the springtime woods by their showy blossoms. Later, I would return to get the fruit, either sweet or sour, but I always preferred the sour cherries!

Ohhhhhh! 花見!!! So gorgeous. I lived in Tokyo for two years and had the privilege of seeing the blossoms. Heavenly. The city I live in now has planted a few cherry trees in a nearby park, but because they are still young, they don't have very many blooms. How wonderful that you can see these flowers every year!
ReplyDeleteUm verdadeiro cenário de sonho!...

Beautiful cherry blossom trees. The big weeping cherry tree is so pretty and looks like it droops a bit more than the others. And I love that last picture of the cherry trees and the yellow flowers. These are wonderful photos, and I thank you for sharing them. : )

How nice that the blossom comes every year, and sad that it goes away again so quickly. What a fine sight the trees make alongside the road.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cherry blossoms. I really like that the last picture with the blossoms and yellow on the bank.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything more grand than a cherry tree in full bloom?
