In the last Sunday morning, I woke up to find snows shining under the blue sky. I had not expected any snow in the previous night, so I was surprised and went out to see the unexpected sights.
Snows on bamboo leaves is like a Chinese drawing in India ink. 快雪时晴佳想安善Rice fields were covered with a thin coat. 水稻田变成了一片雪原。
Young tea leaves are very tough even at a low temperature. 白雪把茶叶的绿色衬得更漂亮了。
Goodness from blossoms in your last post to snow in this one!
ReplyDeleteThe weather, wherever we are, gives us so many differences.
I enjoyed your photographs
All the best Jan
You pictures take me back to Cleveland, where we had snow in quantity, although we do not have any bamboo, rice or tea growing. My last house was out in the woods, where the appreciation of the snow's beauty was counterbalanced by the prospects of shoveling it and driving in it!

The snow on the rice field is beautiful!I like it.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
Beautiful. Hopefully, the plants do not freeze! For us here it has rained a lot more snow. Have a nice weekend
ReplyDeleteI do hope the plants will survive, the snow is thin.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
Love the shot of the tea leaves in the plant! The high temperatures here melted all our snow.
ReplyDelete很漂亮的风景,茶叶在冬天雪地会不会枯萎呢?
ReplyDeleteThe tea leaves bring to mind holly berry leaves, sprouting out from the crystalline white snow.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful weekend,

Happy weekend ...enjoy the snow.....love Ria x
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely snow pictures. That first picture with the sun shining through is so pretty. I've never seen a picture of the tea leaves before, very interesting.

Happy Sunday !
Love the shot of the snow on the overhanging bamboo branches! I've never seen actual tea leaves before ;) Here our snow is mostly gone now, although we got a dusting overnight when the temperatures slipped back to under 0'C again. Have a great week ahead!

What interesting photos! Do you think that the snow itself looks almost like small flowers? It reminds me in some places of white lilac.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting that is snowed and you had no idea.
ReplyDeleteI will never know what that is like, to wake up to snow!
Everything looks so pretty with a dusting of snow! We are getting some right now!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow. I enjoyed the photos.

Looks really magical with a dusting of pretty snow - yes, such an extreme going from the Spring blossoms to snow.
