RARE CHANCE TO ENJOY FULL BLOOM

Thanks to the sudden snowfall and cold weather, we were able to enjoy cherry blossoms longer this year. It is very very rare to have a snowfall after cherry blooming.
One week after my first visit, canola flowers had opened.
This is a wonderful present from nature colored with white, yellow and green under the blue sky.

  1. Weather anomalies happen more and more often. But even after the rainfall, the trees look beautiful. Greetings :)

  2. Such a beautiful display of cherry trees - and unusual to see them bordering a field of canola.
A lovely place to walk on a spring day.

  3. Hello rtc, Absolutely stunning. Sometimes strange weather gives unexpected gifts. I know in Ohio there was alternate sun and cold this spring, perfect weather for the maple sugar season! I still have to check though, to see how it came out, because there are many factors.

  5. Dearest RTC.,
Your photos are stunning. love the color palet you show here.
Indeed, a present from nature and only for such a brief period.
Those that discover its beauty and know how to 'frame' it are being blessed!
It guides us through less colorful periods...
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  8. Oh my, there's so many blossom trees gracing this trail. They are beautiful. They look a bit lighter than the others in your previous posts, so their blossoms maybe just opened?

    Wishing you wonderful May days.

  9. Beautiful photos. One year I would like to follow the cherry blossoms from the south to the north of Japan.

  11. How marvellous!I didn't know that snowfall could prolong the life of cherry blossoms. So they do not have to disappear QUITE so fast and we can feel a little more cheerful about it ! I missed nearly all the blooming of the large cherry tree outside my kitchen window. When we returned from Spain I was grateful that it had kept its blossoms just in time for me to see them before they began to fall in earnest.

  14. What a beauty! I love seeing cherry trees blossoming.
The weather gives us its surprises, here we have had snowfall and hail in May, that is unusual and may be very rarely too.
    Your photos are awesome!
