It was a quite sweltering day when I walked up long stone stairs to see hydrangeas. The parking lot down of the temple were heated by sunshine and hot asphalt. Going upward, I felt cooler and enjoyed blue, white and red flowers.
The red gate welcomed visitors.
Though this is small, the workmanship of the structures, sculptures and paintings is very exquisite. It must have taken a long time to complete the works.
The second layer is round. I feel it is rare to see round structures by wood. Round leaves growing from the dragon pots are lotus.
This new building is used for exhibition and meeting. The architecture fits with the mountain.
Imagens maravilhosas! Grata pela partilha, deste lugar incrível!

This is SO BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteThat red structure is interesting and so pretty with all the different colors. I love that picture of the people walking up the long stairs to see the hydrangeas. I never really gave much thought to hydrangeas, but after seeing many on my blog friends' posts, I appreciate them now. Such a lovely flower.

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEvery photo here is exquisite. What a glorious and peaceful place.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. It's so appreciated!
Hello rtc, How exquisite when the plantings and surroundings complement the building. I think that in many historic restorations in the U.S. they think that saving the building alone is enough, and don't worry about the landscape.
ReplyDeleteSo many suburban houses in Ohio have hydrangeas in the yard; one sees them all the time when taking walks.

How pretty! Thank you for the visit.
ReplyDeleteDearest RTC,
ReplyDeleteIf climbing a number of stairs would always be this rewarding; what a dream for the eyes!
The red gate indeed is very welcoming and a treasure of workmanship in itself.
So is the small structure and its special round edged roof.
Indeed the barrel type mid section of the wooden building is unique. Love the lotus plants and hope they will yield some flowers as well.
The meeting and exhibition building blends in very nicely with the area and looks quite elegant.
Thanks for sharing all this beauty.
Hugs,
Mariette
