We do have Cherry Trees in the UK but I have never seen one standing alone on a hill before. I usually take dehydrated food with me and cook on a small gas stove.I try to keep my total pack weight below 10kg ( tent, sleeping bag, cooking kit, food and water etc.)
Our streets are full of cherry trees and my apple tree is also full of blossoms. Makes ones soul bloom as well to see spring arrive. :) Soon all the streets will be covered in pink snow and this is a sight to behold.:)
